If you are planning on doing your own food storage, these bags are the way to go! And you may think 300 is too many, but it won't be. You can store so many things in mylar besides food, you'll go through a case in no time. Great quality, great price!

Good bag for the price but much thinner than I was expecting. The bag I usually use (purchased a case of 500 from an LDS cannery years ago) is probably twice the thickness of this bag, so I had some trouble getting my impulse sealer set to the right temp to seal the bag without melting through it. Little bit of trial and error to get it right. This size bag is narrower and longer than the thicker bags, so it fits better in the 4 gallon square pails I store them in.

This is my second order. I only had 1 or 2 failures out of 100 so I am good. You cannot beat this price and they do keep the light from penetrating stored food.

I have around 230 of these bags stored, and yes, they are thinner than many bags. However, I haven't had a single bag punctured, but that is probably because I use them for foods like wheat, flour, and rice and not pasta. For the price, you can store twice as much food as with any other bag. I use 2 300-cc absorbers per bag.

Since I haven't used any of the bags yet, I can't review your product on ease of use, etc. The only thing I can say is that the delivery of the bags was quick.
