    The resealable bags are great for dehydrated foods on a long hike. While hiking you can rip off the heat seal add water to your food and reseal and put it back in your backpack. In a couple hours when you're ready for lunch you can open it up and eat your rehydrated food.

    These bags are the perfect size for backpacking. Enough room to rehydrate and eat right out of the bag. They are heavy duty for long term storage.

    These are a great size for storing a couple of servings of a side dish, or soup mix, or several servings of dry milk and cream of wheat. Long term storage is great. But who wants to open a big bag of something, then know its shelf life becomes limited. Storing up for possible hard times makes more sense if you have a variety of ready to make meal kits that don't result in a lot of left overs. These meal size bags are strong, weighty and easy to fill because they stand upright and open. And they keep things zip sealed until time to add O2 absorbers and heat seal the top edge. After doing my research I found all mylar bags are not created equal. Not only are these the best price, they are also the highest quality.

    Great size for individual meals in a pouch! Excellent bags for long term storage.
